Four games at prospective hours are less than expected, but MNF at home is soft.
Lamar Jackson is undoubtedly the most exciting player in the NFL for years, which has raised the Ravens to be not only a very good team, but a very good team with essential offensive players.
Thus, the slate of Ravens to have only four prime time games is somewhat surprising. Baltimore played eight television matches at the national level last season.
The Ravens will play on “Sunday Night Football” in Buffalo to open the year. A match against the main competitor of the NFC Detroit Lions was considered sexy enough for “Monday Night Football” two weeks later. The M&T Bank Stadium will swing for it. Since 2008, Baltimore has only had five home games “Monday Night Football”, which is tied with Houston and Jacksonville to say the least during this period.
The Ravens will be on “Thursday evening Football” against the Miami dolphins in week 9, then will host the Thanksgiving match against Bengals.
The game of Ravens-Christs which is not on television during great listening hours is unexpected, although most of the country will always see this match with a kick-off of 4:25 pm on CBS.
It would not be surprising either to see (neither both) of the week 17 or 18 games against packers and Steelers, respectively, land on national television. Consecutive games at 1 p.m. against Steelers and Bengals in December could be flexed.
