The UNLV football player, Ben Christman, died Cardiac arrhythmia, irregular heart rate and cardiomyopathy – a disease that makes the heart more difficult to pump blood around the body.
It was according to the coroner of Nevada who examined the body of the 21 -year -old woman, who was found dead in her apartment in February.
At the time, police documents – obtained by TMZ – revealed that Christman had felt chest pain during training the day before his death.
Christman would have undergone an EKG – a test to check the heart rate – on February 10 after complaining about chest pain, with a cardio doctor by examining the tests but not finding anything alarming.
After this practice, Christman would have returned home around 3 p.m. and would have gone directly to his room after having briefly greeted his roommate.
The next day, according to police documents, Christman was found by a teammate lying on his back, foaming in his mouth and with purple fingers.

A police officer would have arrived at the scene on the morning of February 11 – following a call at 911 – and determined that Christman had been died for “a few hours” due to the color of his right arm. The person who made the appeal of 911 and another teammate administered the RCR when the officer arrived.
Christman had missed training that morning, leading his teammates to check it. The roommate told the cops that he had not seen Christman since he had entered his room after the practice of the day before.
The school published an emotional declaration after the death of Christman. “The heart of our team is broken to hear the death of Ben,” said head coach of the rebels Dan Mullen.
“Since the day Ben set foot on our campus a month ago, he made rebels a better program. Ben was an easy choice for our management committee because he had gained immediate respect, admiration and friendship of all his teammates.
“Our prayers go to his family and to all those who knew him. Ben made the world better and we will miss.
Christman had been transferred to the UNLV earlier this year after two seasons in Kentucky. Before that, it was a four -star recruit from the school and played for two years at the Ohio State.
Christman 6 feet 6 inches and 325 pounds entered his last season of admissibility in college.
