The bosses of the Premier League fear that their stars will be taken to Breaking Point if England chooses its strongest team possible for the European Championships under 21 of this summer.
Lee Carsley’s team goes to Slovakia to keep the title they won two years ago and Carsley should choose an extremely strong team, with players like Adam Wharton, Morgan Rogers, Levi Colwill, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Tino Livramento among those who have a senior caps that are still eligible for filming under 211.
However, Mail Sport understands that there is a discomfort among the Premier League clubs which fear that their young stars need an appropriate rupture this summer, and that the risk of injury increases if they do not have them.
Wharton, 21, has struggled to injure this mandate and was selected for both last summer summer championships and the under -21 tournament in 2023, which means that he has not had a clear break between the seasons since 2022.
Rogers, meanwhile, has played 51 times for Aston Villa through the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League while Lewis-Skelly has become a key man for Arsenal, just like Livramento and Colwill for Newcastle and Chelsea respectively.
All these players can also be part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans for the senior team, although their summer schedule is relatively light.

The qualifier of the World Cup in England in Andorra on June 7 is followed by a friendly match against Senegal at the City Ground of June 10 – two days before the opening of the under 21 against the Czech Republic.
The club’s duels against the country for participation in junior tournaments have previously raged. Jack Wilshere was finally convinced to withdraw from the team under 21 in 2011, while Harry Kane played in the under -21 tournament four years later.
Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino, blamed the slow start of Kane in the next campaign on his busy summer schedule.
