Investigators ask for public help to find additional victims who may have been in contact with a 30 -year -old man accused of having sexually abused children he met via Instagram.
Burbank police arrested Ivan Hernandez, Valley Village on March 23 after receiving a tip and conducted an investigation into an alleged drug activity. Authorities said in a press release on Thursday that Hernandez had been found in her vehicle with a minor girl. He was arrested for suspected children and in possession of nitrous oxide.
The detectives learned that Hernandez provided a nitrous oxide, marijuana and alcohol to minor girls in exchange for sexual acts, police said. Hernandez would have recorded sexual assault on his phone and managed to attract his victims to Instagram with the promise to provide them with drugs and sex alcohol, investigators said.
According to the police, the Instagram handles of Hernandez include “Noznbars”, “N2ohead”, “Nawzhead818”, “Nozzhead_818” and “Nozzhead818_” and they believe that there could be more victims.
On March 25, he was accused of several crimes, including three heads of illegal sexual relations with a minor under the age of 16, two counts to meet a minor for obscene purposes and a chief of danger of children, of oral copulation of a minor under the age of 16, obscene lascivious acts.
He is detained without surety and must appear in court on May 21. He pleaded not guilty to all accusations, according to the judicial archives.
