“The view” was removed from the subject by many random events in his time, and Monday morning, the culprit was a song led by Christie Brinkley. Although in all honesty, she did not start it.
Stopping in the Talk -show ABC to support his new book “Uptown Girl”, partly appointed for her old romantic relationship with Billy Joel, the model recalled how she had met the singer – and how she quickly got on. Apparently, they met in a diving bar, and Joel was ready to use his skills on the piano to court it.
But when he asked what she wanted to hear, Brinkley certainly did not ask for one of his own songs.
“Me, not knowing who he was,” said “Ipanema’s daughter,” recalls Brinkley, laughing. “And then he sort of looked at me as, ‘OK?” And before he could say anything, I said: “I just learned the lyrics in Portuguese, hit it!” “”
To this, the host Ana Navarro put this knowledge to the test a little, quietly starting to sing the lyrics. Brinkley was quick to join us, jumping from his chair to happen properly for the public, and things were simply rooted from there.
The Whoopi Goldberg moderator was born from his chair almost as soon as Brinkley herself did to start dancing and singing. But, when Brinkley sat a few seconds later, Whoopi continued, surrounding a little more.
The women got back on the right track, Brinkley admitting that she really used this part of the song to help her cross the work pain.
“The view” is broadcast during the week at 11:00 a.m. on ABC.
