Universal Pictures defined Joseph Kosinski to direct Miami viceA drama based on the emblematic NBC series of the 80s on infiltrated cops which fell drug traffickers. Dan Gilroy rewrites a first script project by Eric Warren Singer. No casting yet. Dylan Clark produces with Kosinski.
They have percolated it for a bit, and Kosinski has one of the titles Summer Buzz in the Formula One film on the arrival of Brad Pitt F1 Made by Apple and headed for theaters via Warner Bros. He expects to expect to remedy himself with F1 Producer Jerry Bruckheimer for a title UFO project at Apple, and it will come after. Kosinski and Bruckheimer have also joined Top Gun: Maverick.

Mann transformed the series into a 2006 film Miami vice For Universal who featured Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx as an infiltration duo. Gilroy wrote and directed Nightcrawler And more recently worked on the Lucasfilm series Andor For Disney +. Gilroy will rewrite a first project by Eric Warren Singer, the writer behind American jostling who worked with Kosinski on Top Gun Maverick. The singer was not available to continue because he moved to Best enemies Project he sold to Amazon with Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper.
