McDonald’s lovers will soon have a new menu element to try, because it announced this week, it brings McCrispy chicken bands in the restaurants of the country. The fast food giant says that the dish is the first permanent element added to the menu since 2021.
The chicken straps are made with 100% white meat and coated with crisp Golden brown pluers. A new black pepper flavor ends with the bands. McDonald’s also launches a dip in creamy chili, described as “a tasty, sweet and tart sauce”.
“Since I went into my new role as a leader of the American company this year, I have been delighted that fans can experience our additional chicken offers,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, responsible for marketing and customer experience at McDonald’s. “The demand for chicken strips was remarkable to see through the industry, so we knew that we had to deliver something so essential that it was worth waiting.
“We took our time, listened to our fans and created a product that we knew they would like. And the best part is that we are just starting.”
McCrispy strips are served in counts of three or four rooms and should be in restaurants on May 5. McDonald’s says that some restaurants have already started to sell the items.
