The giants had no choice in the second round of the draft because of their trade against the quarter Jaxson Dart on Thursday evening, but they went up in the mixture to launch the third round.
They used the 65th overall choice to select the Darius Alexander defensive platform. He joined the third choice of choice Abdul Carter as added to La Défense for the Giants.
Alexander started 12 games in Toledo last year and finished the season with 40 plated, 7.5 plated for the loss and 3.5 bags. He also returned an interception for a hit in the team’s bowl match.
Dexter Lawrence is the key member of the Giants’ interior defensive line and Alexander will try to complement his new teammate.
