Selma Blair, who talked about her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis in 2018, is “really in remission,” she said People Thursday, almost seven years after his public return with his diagnosis.
“I’m doing well. “But I’m finally good enough for really, really … I always try to feel better, but now that I really have endurance and energy and go out and go out is not so scary.”
In January, Variety reported exclusively that Blair made a return to action with three new films that came into production: “Stay Forte”, a drama on the War of Israel-Hamas; A supernatural thriller called “silent”; And a twin drama “there”.
“I started to feel really better last year and I am back to work and I do things, so I will have things to announce,” she said Variety at the time.
“Stay Forte”, directed by Israeli filmmaker Doron Eran, tells the story of three Israelis taken hostage by Hamas during his attack on October 7 in Israel.
“This film is not only a story; it is a testimony to the resilience of the human mind and the links that unite us against an unimaginable tragedy,” Blair said in a statement. “I am honored to be part of this trip, which really reflects the diversified fabric of Israeli society – the people of many religions taken in the cross fires of the conflict.”
In “Silent”, Blair plays a sound designer who finds himself fighting the old forces of evil who are unlocked while she works on the restoration of a silent film. “There”, directed by Mark and Michael Polish, concerns the twin brothers who did not know each other have existed for 40 years. Blair plays a supporting role as one of the former brotherly interests of the brother.
