Chris Eubank Jr insisted that his failure to make the average weight limit of 160 pounds for his strength test with Conor Benn has “no relevance” on the outcome of the fight.
The 35 -year -old also struck his opponent – who attended the final play with a necklace that included the words “ non -guilty ” – and his promoter, saying that the weight debacle was simply an attempt to destroy me ”.
EUBANK JR was hit with a penalty of £ 375,000 after changing the balance half-known above the limit. He is now likely to lose more from his handbag of 7 million pounds sterling if he weighs more than 170 pounds in the morning of the fight.
“If they are going to take half a million to be 0.05 lb of the limit,” said Eubank Jr. “This has no relevance of what is happening tomorrow, it is only people that Matchroom, Eddie Hearn and Conor Benn are.
“They are configured to try to put me off track. Nothing will work. He is in a hell of a surprise. He thinks he is going there for a hop jump and a right hand – but he has no idea of the pain (he will get).
Benn, a fighter in Great Britain for the first time since the resolution of a two-year legal battle against his positive drug tests, reacted to the news of the failure of Eubank’s weight laughing on social networks with the message: “ show me the mother ******* money ”.

Friday evening, he was even less friendly and declared his intention to deposit his own punishment at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
“He should have gained weight, he made this weight all his career,” he said. “He expects sympathy but he will not get sympathy on my part,” said Benn.
“I feel comfortable at 156 lb, I am a 147 lb fighter, so I go and I will use my speed, my ferocity,” he added. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to look frightened, intimidated. I am neither. I look forward to Saturday.
“I’m here to remove my head.
