The anti-Elon Musk and Anti-TESLA demonstrators celebrate a victory after the round of the car manufacturer on Tuesday.
“Today’s earnings report sends a very clear message,” the Anti-Tesla Tesla Takedown organization wrote in an email on Tuesday. “Tesla’s basic pressure started hitting Tesla where it hurts – the results of the company.”
The Tesla’s first quarter profits report revealed that the automaker had failed income and profits by action. In the follow-up call, Tesla’s financial director Vaibhav Taneja said that vandalism and anti-TESLA hostility “had an impact on certain markets”. Musk also announced during the call that he planned to take a significant step back from his role with DOGE from next month.
The apparent impact of boycott efforts seems to have aroused more interest in one of the responsible groups.
Tesla Takedown told Business Insider that its announcement by post-benefit email had an opening rate of more than 53%, an increase compared to the average opening rate of approximately 30% which it had in the previous four emails. The organization also said that more than 30 new demonstrations had been added to its action network page within 24 hours of the results. During the same period, he said that his Bluesky follower account increased by 10%to 15%, compared to his typical weekly growth on social networks of less than 5%.
The group, which has organized hundreds of demonstrations in recent months against Elon Musk’s efforts, also said in a press release that “the movement to hold Musk responsible for attacks” against public services went beyond Tesla.
“Tesla Takedown has already started to lay the foundations to expand Tesla’s efforts to target other muscles companies, including Spacex, Starlink, X and XAI,” the organization said in the press release.
Other similar protest movements against Musk show little sign of slowdown. One day after Tesla’s outcome, climate activists organized a demonstration at a San Francisco dealership, which finally led to arrests. The demonstrators accused the “Greenwashing” company and called Elon Musk’s dismissal as CEO.
A Tesla representative did not respond to a request for comments.
