Gwen Stefani’s recipe for a happy wedding apparently comes down to one word: God. The singer undoubtedly referenced her and the shared faith of Blake Shelton in a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore ShowFour years after their marriage in 2021.
It all started when Barrymore asked him to share the best advice that Stefani has ever received on love, to which Stefani replied: “The best advice would probably be sure of having a third party.”
The singer then underlined upwards, implying that her third party of choice is the great man upstairs, alias God.

Shelton and Stefani first met as coaches The voiceThe longtime singing competition that currently has Kelsea Ballerini, Adam Levine, John Legend and Michael Bubble on his coach list. Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale at the time; Shelton was married to Miranda Lambert. The two subsequently asked for divorce.
“I was not trying to start a relationship, I was just trying not to die,” Stefani told Howard Stern a year after the duo started to go out together. “I had a horrible situation and something big came out.”
This same month, Shelton opened up to Display panel On their emerging relationship. “Gwen saved my life,” he told the publication. “Who else on earth could understand going through a very publicized divorce from another musician? You can’t even imagine the similarities of our divorces.”

Aside from the holiday planning, the duo has collaborated on a certain number of musical efforts since the coupling, including “You make me feel like Christmas” by Stefani, who featured Shelton, and “No But You” by Shelton, who featured Stefani. Oh, and they are still “madly in love”, four years old.
“I have somehow ceased to check the things on my list of great achievements in my life when I married Gwen, so it’s just an ice cream on the cake,” said Shelton during his renowned Hollywood Walk Walk. “I love you so much, and it’s the great thing that happened throughout this trip.”
