Footy Great Matty Johns identified the moment which sparked the rivalry of several decades between Wayne Bennett and Craig Bellamy.
Large coaching had once been the best companions, but over the years, over the years, the barbs have been against each other on Friday evening while the storm will face the rabbitos of the Aami park.
It seems that their career has been hugged forever, Bellamy being signed as a co-co-coach of the Canberra Raiders in 1987.

But it was revealed by Matty Johns that the rivalry of Bellamy and Bennett (photo) was launched on a 10 km race
“Bennett would not only join the fleeing players – he would win. Every week. Easily, Johns wrote in his column in the Daily Telegraph.
Bellamy, however, had been excluded from the pre-season before the start of the 1987 Premiership campaign with a calf injury.
But a month after the start of the new season, he was able to stab in the 10 km race.
It was here that he would put the coach of the raids to the test.
After taking the lead, Bennett was overwhelmed by Bellamy, who zoom in front of the football boss.
In fact, according to Johns, it was the “beginning of their long relationship and symbolic of their fierce rivalry”.
After hanging up his boots in 1991, Bellamy would seek a career in training, Bellamy hiring him as a performance coordinator and deputy coach during his stay at Brisbane Broncos. The team won the LNR grand final the following year in 1998.
He had learned a lot about football and training his former mentor Bennett during this period, including a lesson that you are supposed to treat players differently.

Johns told how Bellamy had become furious after spotting the Allan Langer skipper chatting with a man during a walk on the edge of the bronco training.
He had tried to go to talk about changing and tell him to put his socks up but Bennett arrested him, asking him where he was going.
Johns said Bennett saying to him: “You leave him alone, that’s what he does.”
Over the years, the pair has arrived in front of 35 times, Bellamy winning 29 of these matches.
Bennett rabbits come out at the back of a dark 32-0 defeat by the Bulldogs last week, their second successive defeat after having been defeat eight points against the cowboys the previous week.
Despite second place in the LNR scale, Storm also dropped with a disappointing defeat of 42-22 against the Dolphins last week.
