The legend of the AFL launches ‘Buddy’ Franklin has rubbed the rumors that he sports a wig, categorical, his new hairstyle is the real matter.
The hawthorn and Sydney Great, 38, pushed his hair and denied speculation – including the former teammate of Hawks Jarryd Roughad – he secretly wears a song.
“ It was pretty funny, I caught Roughie a few weeks ago when I was in Melbourne … He said that all the boys thought you had a little wig, false hair ”, said Franklin on his new Buddy and shane Podcast with his colleague Foot Great Shane Crawford.
“I said absolutely not, guy. It took me a year to grow up and I’m so happy. “Then he says (no) you have a wig. (I said) It’s me.
Franklin went into the state he plans to “go for a long time” and will not head to the hairdresser for a buzz cup as soon as possible.
He also hits the sidewalk before the New York marathon in November.

“I am really excited about it,” said Franklin.
“I have been running for a while now. Going down to Canberra for Mother’s Day that starts with a 10 km race, then we are going to do a half-marathon (on) Gold Coast, then Alice Springs 30 km Run then New York.
“While waiting, it will be a bit fun. I really loved putting hearing phones and going to run. (There is) nothing better.
“I did it (I have a questionable knee). Now that I have finished (playing football), my body feels pretty good, which is great.
“Running to have a kick with the children is incredible.”
Franklin made his debut at AFL in 2005 and won two flags with Hawthorn before moving to Sydney in 2014.
Although he did not win a Prime Minister with the Swans, Franklin retired in 2023 after scoring 1066 career goals of 354 games.
He now lives on the Gold Coast with his wife Jectinta and their two children, Tululah and Rocky.
Franklin is also Ambassador of AFL Superkick, designed for children aged 7 to 12 who seek to develop their skills or collect football for the first time.
