OAKLAND – An Oakland 35 -year -old man was sentenced to almost six years in federal prison this week to be a criminal in possession of a firearm and ammunition, prosecutors said.
Michael Tatum pleaded guilty to the accusation in January 2024, according to the office of the American prosecutor.
During a search in the Tatum residence in February 2022, police officers found five loaded firearms, one of which was stolen and hundreds of ammunition cycles, prosecutors said.
Agents also seized about $ 148,530 in American currency.
In addition to a 70 -month prison period, Tatum was sentenced to three years of supervised release and pierced his interest in firearms, the ammunition and the currency recovered.
Tatum should start to serve his sentence on July 22.
