The grand master of Indian chess Koneru Hummpy won the Pune’s leg of the Grand Prix of Women 2024-25 Wednesday despite the level of finish on the points with Zhu Jiner de China. The title was given to the 38 -year -old Indian GM on the basis of his superior equality break on Jiner.
Humpy and Jiner had ended with a score of 7/9 after the Indian chess player beat the international master and Bulgarian player Nurgyul Salimova during the last round. Jinder defeated Russia Polina Shuvalova in the ninth round.

The Deshmukh of India finished third with a score of 5.5 / 9 after shooting against player No. 1 of Poland Alina Kashlinskaya during the last round.
Harika Dronavalli attracted Batkhuyag Mununtuul of Mongolia to finish fourth with a score of 4.5 / 9, the same as Shavalova.
R Vaishali had a bad tournament when she finished sixth with 4 points.
