Boston Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis underwent a horrible injury in match 2 of the NBA qualifiers against Orlando Magic on Wednesday evening.
With a little less than a minute in the third quarter, the head of the center was opened after taking a wandering elbow at the head of the magical Goga Bitazde center.
Bitadze tried to pass the ball to one of his magic teammates, when his elbow hit the porzingis front directly.
After the incident, the veteran went to the ground and ended up with blood slope of his forehead.
The coaches quickly rushed to his aid, applying pressure on the gushing injury with a towel to stem the bleeding.
Porzingis finally managed to get up with the help of coaches and headed for the locker room with a draped towel on his head. Despite the blood flowing on his face, he remained in a good mood, cutting the crowd while he retired to the tunnel.

He later returned to the courtyard with a banded plaster in the shape of a massive X on his forehead
At the time of the incident, Boston led 77-66 with 55 seconds to the third quarter and the fault was called a flagrant fault penalty 1.
The TNT broadcast team has hypothesized that Porzingis may need stitches, but the Latvian later came out of the changing rooms with a solid X -shaped bandage through the center of its forehead instead.
While the 7 -foot 3 -inch star made his return to the field and headed for the bench, the noisy crowd inside the TD garden was unleashed.
“KP, KP”, the faithful of Boston chanted while Porzignis radiated at the warm reception.
