An Olympic star responded to online rumors that she fell pregnant.
The Spanish triple rider Ana Peleteiro, 29, won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021 and finished sixth in the same event in Paris last year.
Peleteiro shares a two -year -old girl with her triple French husband Benjamin Compaore, 37, after giving birth in December 2022, and fans thought she could be pregnant again after seeing photos of her at Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid earlier this week.
However, Peleteiro denied that she is waiting for another child and revealed the real reason behind her “swollen” belly.
“My friends, I’m not pregnant,” she confirmed on Instagram. “And I prefer to clarify this before continuing to ask me and assuming that it is a fact.
“If my” belly “was a bit visible, it is essentially because I am on my period. Thank God, I have a wonderful body that works as it should be, and every 28 days, it makes me a little / quite swollen.

Peleteiro added: “We are not trying to get pregnant, and I do not intend to be one of it anytime soon, because at the moment, my priority is my work and jumps very far. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone.
Peleteiro won the European indoor championships earlier this year for the second time after having become European champion outside in 2024.
She is expected to finish a two -week training camp in Italy in the coming days while she is preparing for another big year.
The Diamond League 2025 – which oppose the best athletes in the world against each other on 15 racing games – should start later this week in China.
Peleleeiro will not participate in China, but could be involved in other events later in the year before the World Championship in Tokyo in September.
She has never won an outdoor world championship medal, with her best finish being sixth in Doha, Qatar in 2019.
