The former NFL botter, Jay Feely, abandons the distribution to appear at Congress.
Feely told ESPN on Tuesday that he would appear in the House of American Representatives of the 5th district of the Arizona Congress in the mid-term elections of 2026. He filed a declaration of interest to the Secretary of State of Arizona, which is necessary before a candidate could start collecting signatures for a place on the ballot.
“I am enthusiastic about This next chapter of my life“, Said Feely at Espn.” I think I think God calls God to put me into service, and that’s really what I think it’s the public service. I do not believe that we have enough politicians who enter political functions and not for selfish measures and who enter a political position and do not want it to be a career, and that is what I believe.
“I think it’s really a public service.”
Feely, 48, arises for a seat canceled by representative Andy Biggs, who announced his candidacy for the Governor of Arizona in 2026.
It was a Republican who said that the attempted assassination of July on President Donald Trump convinced him to introduce himself.
Feely launched the NFL for 14 seasons, retiring after the 2014 season, and he has spent the last 10 seasons broadcasting the NFL matches for CBS.
