The year of Jalen Hurts continues to improve.
After a season highlighted by injuries to the lance of the title of the Super Bowl Lix of the Philadelphia Eagles against the Chiefs of Kansas City in February, the quarterrier revealed to Men’s Health that he had officially made the knot with his longtime girlfriend and his fiancée, Bry Burrows, this spring.
Hurts told Men’s Health that when the interview was published: “You can call her my wife.” He brought a note of pink post-it from his wife to the interview who said: “You are exactly where you are supposed to be. I love you. Follow God! I am.”
After Philadelphia beat Green Bay Packers 34-29 in week 1 of the 2024-25 season in Brazil, where Hurts launched 278 yards and two affected, Hurts revealed that he was engaged to Burrows.
“I mean, at this point in my life, it is an irreplaceable feeling,” said Hurts. “I think that is what allowed us to happen where we are now.”
The couple began to go out together at university when Hurts was the Alabama Crimson Tide signator. The injuries and burrows are both members of the divine nine – fraternities and sororities of the Black Greek letter which are part of the Panhelllenic National Council. Hurts is a member of the Omega PSI Phi fraternity, Incorporated, while his wife is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
The couple made their relationship public in 2023, the same year Hurts won their first NFC championship match.
Injuries have raised 2,903 yards by the pass and 18 affected during the 2024 season for Philadelphia. In the Super Bowl Lix, Hurts launched 221 yards and two touched passers -by, with a precipitated touch.
