Washington – Food and Drug Administration endowment problems have led to the suspension of a program that guarantees the quality of milk and other dairy products. According to Reuters, the agency announced the suspension in an internal email sent to employees on Monday and consulted by the news agency.
From Monday, the FDA suspended its skill test program for raw milk “A” and finished products. The note “A” is given to products that meet the highest health standards.
The decision to suspend the program took place after the FDA Moffett Center’s jurisdiction test laboratory said it was “no longer to provide laboratory support for skill tests and data analysis”. This center is part of the FDA division which oversees food security, according to Reuters.

Competence test programs are designed to ensure consistency and precision throughout the network of American food security laboratories.
“The FDA actively assess alternative approaches for the next financial year and will hold all the informed participating laboratories as new information will be available,” said the email.
As part of his program since his entry into office in January, President Donald Trump has ordered personnel discounts across the federal government. The Ministry of Health and Social Services, which includes the FDA, has seen around 20,000 employees be dismissed or deviate from the agency since January.
Trump administration has called upon up to $ 40 billion in the HHS budget.
Earlier this month, the FDA suspended its existing and developing programs that tested the bird flu in milk and cheese, as well as a program that has tested pathogens in other foods.
