Ronnie O’Sullivan has returned to Snooker for the first time since January as he has decorated the world championship.
O’Sullivan faces his former enemy Ali Carter in the crucible Theater, who, according to him, needs to “sort his life F ******” after having beaten him during the 2024 Masters final.
The 33rd appearance of crucible crucible world champion seven times had been in doubt, having not contributed since its angry the Champions League in January.
O’Sullivan recently told Mail Sport that he had been “exhausted” after “four years of difficulty” and that he would make a last minute call on the opportunity to play in Sheffield.
In his only appearance this year, O’Sullivan lost four of his five games in the league league and broke his signal before retiring from his last match.
He then abandoned the masters, the German masters, the Open Welsh and the Grand Prix of the World, apologizing to the spectators and citing a mixture of exhaustion and medical reasons. This is his disappointment with his form, he could not practice.
O’Sullivan has been a regular element to the crucible since his professional return in 1992 and admitted that he had often found his success a breeze. Now, however, he has attributed his advanced age to his struggle to completely recover from tournaments.
