Additional report by Thomas Maher
After having crashed into the wall in his first quick round in Q3 in front of the Saudi Grand Prix, Lando Norris had a difficult Sunday in front of him – in particular with his teammate Oscar Piastri to only one point behind him in the classification starting in the front row.
Piastri has put back with the poleter Max Verstappen towards the first turn, refusing to give in to the ground to the reigning champion. Verstappen was slapped with a five -second penalty, which allowed Piastri to move on to an undisputed victory.
For his part, Norris had a solid race. From the race from 10th on the hard tires, he was able to take advantage of an alternative strategy that helped him climb the head before his stand at the stand, then to use his medium tires to cut more on the ground.
In the end, it was good enough to finish fourth – just over a second behind the last podium -sitter Charles Leclerc.

“I have the confidence that the rhythm is there, and I have the impression of being the best per minute, but I make my life too difficult on Saturday.
โI make myself work for that; It makes my Sundays a little more fun sometimes. I have to work on my Saturday, and if I can work on my Saturday, I am convinced that I can come back where I was. โ
After only five great prices, there will be a lot of time for Norris to consist – and the Circus F1 left for Miami, where the Briton won his first victory.
