It’s been a minute that I did not enter a brick and mortar store to physically buy my next “IT” outfit. What can I say? It’s so simple to pass Sex and cityPour me a glass of wine and scroll the latest style arrivals of my sofa. But when I heard that Old Navy launched an elevated collection with Zac Posen – yes, the designer even responsible for the viral dress of Anne Hathaway – I knew that I had to see him to believe him.

The “The Occasion” line is full of a selection of refined dresses and separations, available in sizes X to 4XL, including small and high adjustments. Made from luxurious fabrics such as taffeta, satin and muslin, this collection is designed to create a scene, with trendy details such as bubble hems, floating sleeves and torsion knots. But in the words of Sarah Holme, manager of design at Old Navy, it is “Joyful, Female, Confidence-Boosting and Timeless”.

However, it was always difficult to believe that such chic and attractive pieces were sold to Old Navy; I count continuously on the base label, but it is a new page in the identity of the brand. Holme explained the reasoning, saying that the customer was looking for parts that corresponded to all the moments of life, including “meeting nights, parties and weddings” – with styles from only $ 25 and a cap at $ 66.

There was only one way of knowing if the assortment stood out: braving the old adaptation room of the navy.

Smocking at the back of the top was comfortable against my skin without compromising its clean and rationalized appearance and the adjustable straps helped me reach the perfect adjustment. I tried the skirt in a regular XS, and even if it adapts to my small frame, I will exchange it for the small version to make sure that it goes easily with heels and sandals. However, he passed my tests (very rigorous) with flying colors.

By sticking on the dotted theme, I reached this elegant maximum dress, frills sleeves, details below and a sexy leg opening. Spoiler alert: it dropped my jaw.

First and foremost, long dresses never work for me; The long models always end up hanging out on the ground, but not this one! It cascades wonderfully, the small version just falling to my ankles. The rich fabric was also thick and durable, unlike many satin dresses that feel thin. My favorite part? The sensual V collar line that accentuated my collarbones and lying on my neck.

If this little issue seems familiar, it is because Joey King worn it for the first of “drop” – so if it’s good enough for the red carpet, it’s good enough for me.

However, if you have a smaller chest like me, you could feel a minimal snack on the sides, although it can easily be corrected with a bra, a pin or a special fashion ribbon.

There are no bubble problems here with this sassy party dress. The brilliant coral shade draws attention, while the adored Hollywood hem adds texture to any set. The length is just as well thanks to these same straps of genius self -control.

I was carrying mine in the adjustment room with practical straps heels, although a pair of clear and naked stilettos will transform this cutely sexy look in a few seconds. I can even superimpose a long -sleeved lace man with transparent lace below to take it, which makes it unique.

This maximum dress with a lock hole has everything you might want in a sophisticated dress. Heavy satin is sumptuous and expensive, while closing in the central button loop is the cherry on top.

The shade of champagne is perfect for associating with all your most sophisticated black events, so go for it and pour the loot. It is subtle but undeniably attractive, concluding the ideal balance between modest and glamor, making me feel elegant and refined. And, of course, I looked for the small dimensioning for a flawless adjustment.

If you couldn’t say, Old Navy’s “The Occasion” collection won my approval cachet, and I can hardly wait until the brand’s new styles are ready to go out throughout the year. Until then, I will buy more from the first drop before the items of choice – and you should also.
