Pittsburg – The police investigate a double shot on Saturday evening, triggered by a reported physical altercation, which left a dead male juvenile and another injured.
The police began to receive calls around 7:19 p.m. according to which a shooting took place on Beautiful Harbor Circle, a residential street off Harbor Street and north of Highway 4, according to a press release from the Pittsburg police.
The agents who answered initially found a young man suffering from multiple ball wounds. They provided vital aid until the emergency medical staff arrives to transport him to a local hospital, where he was listed in a stable state on Sunday afternoon, the statement said.
At a short distance, the police found the second young, who had also undergone several shot injuries. Despite immediate efforts to provide emergency medical care, he died of his injuries on the scene.
The detectives have so far learned that the shot has been triggered by an altercation which occurred before the shooting. But the police provided no other information on Sunday, including the names of the deceased, claiming that the investigation was “active and in progress”.
A hyper-local social media account on Facebook and Instagram, the local men’s reports of the camera and the cameraman707, cited a resident of the beautiful Harbor Circle who said he had heard gunshots, looked at his window and saw an Amazon truck driver shouting for someone to call 911. The resident saw what he thought was several teenagers to run.
