The second night of Wrestlemania 41 begins again with the championship action, and this time, the women will open the show. On Sunday, the pre-show of Wrestlemania, the commentator Michael Cole officially confirmed that the match of the women’s world championships between Iyo Sky to Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will launch the night of “The Showcase of the Immortals”.
The match was initially supposed to be the Women’s world champion Sky against the winner of the elimination chamber, Belair, but Ripley did everything she could to enter the match after losing gold in Sky in an episode of “WWE Raw” at the beginning of March. After several fights through episodes of “RAW” and Ripley’s arguments to be included in the match, the director general Adam Pearce finally broke out and officially made the fight a triple threat on April 7, not even two weeks before the big event.
The Women’s World Championship match is one of the four total title games in the night of ‘Mania. The main event opposed the undisputed WWE Cody Rhodes against John Cena.
