“Emily in Paris” The five season is on the way.
The successful series, created by the creator of “Sex and the City”, Darren Star, follows an American young woman (Lily Collins) who works in the French capital managing the social media campaigns of luxury fashion and lifestyle brands.
However, as the public saw it in the final of season four, Emily left France for Italy to lead the new Rome office of her business and continue her romance with a beautiful Italian fashion scion.
But this is not the only major change that fans can expect during the coming season.
Here is everything we know about “Emily in Paris” the five season so far.
Season 5 should start filming in May 2025
It was announced that “Emily in Paris” had been renewed for a fifth season in September, shortly after the release of the second half of season four.
Production should start at Rome in May, according to Netflix.
Things will then move to Paris to film later in summer, in order to publish the series before the end of 2025.
A main character will not come back

While most of the main distribution returns, it seems that a key figure will not be back.
Camille Razat, who played Camille in the first four seasons, was a notable absent from the list of return stars shared by Netflix. When viewers saw her for the last time at the end of season four, she left Paris and planned to adopt a baby.
Those Returning for Season Five Include Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Thalia Besson (Geneviève) Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello).
Bravo’s return as chief Gabriel could be a pleasant surprise for some fans, as the actor told Indiewire in October that he had become “frustrated by the management” that his character took and wondered if he wanted to continue in this role.
“It makes me ask me if I want to be part of season 5 (…) because my contract ends in season 4. I really want to see if Gabriel returns to his fun, cheeky, fun and alive self,” he said.
“Three seasons playing melancholy, sad, depressed and lost is no longer fun,” he continued. “It’s a comedy, everyone has fun around me, everyone jumps and I slowly flow into God knows what.”
Season 4 ended with Emily taking a new city and a new romance

Season four saw Emily finally free to continue a relationship with Gabriel since he and Camille had broken after their marriage. However, when Camille announced that she was pregnant with Gabriel’s child, things got complicated.
At the same time, it was revealed that Delfie wanted to try again with Emily. As Emily returned to Paris Single after a disastrous Christmas trip with Gabriel and Camille, Alfie had already evolved.
However, a new romantic interest appeared shortly after in the form of Marcello, the heir to an Italian fashion house.
While their relationship struck a bump when Marcello accused Emily of continuing him only for commercial reasons, at the end of the season, they had started a relationship after Emily was appointed head of the new Rome office of the GRAETEA agency.
