Port Adelaide star Alir Alir was involved in a tense confrontation with a football fan during the victory of his team against the Sydney swans on Sunday after the fan seemed to launch an object on the soccer field.
The 30 -year -old defender had rushed to his goal line to refuse a major score in Port Adelaide.
His momentum transported him to the fence where the fans were seated. A spectator, wearing a shirt, a hat and a red and white scarf, seemed to throw a cardboard claunter in his direction.
The object did not seem to strike the port defender, but Alir put back before punishing the fan for the inconsistent act.
The tensions quickly settled, Alir returning to the field after sharing a few words with the fan.
It is understood that the South Wales police investigate the incident.

Adelaide now reports that the person was also seen talking to members of the SCG security team after the incident.
Sydney has now confirmed that the spectator had been withdrawn by site safety staff. They would have spoken to the individual alongside the South Wales police outside the ground.
Swans CEO, Tom Harley, had been seen talking with Alir after full time.
Channel 9 journalist Tom Morris later took X to write that the police were investigating the incident.
Speaking on the incident, Kane Cornes told Channel 7: “I was horrified to see him. I thought we had exceeded any interaction of fans like this.
“Clearly, he’s a young man, so you don’t want to go too hard with him. But to throw the sign and bring Alir closer – I mean, it’s lucky that it was just a paper sign.
“But Alir has done the right thing and called it and you can see the young man, you can see that he is shocked, hope him by his own actions. I am surprised that security did not go there and withdraw it.
“You expect it to be prohibited for at least a year, probably two years. You hope the AFL will be released firmly and make a real statement because we just can’t have that in the game.

Tensions quickly settled, but it is assured that the football fan was later removed by the staff

Port Adelaide continued to summarize an overvoltage at the end of Sydney to win an eight -point victory during their preliminary final revenge, despite the loss of Ollie wines to a recurring heart problem.
The wines were replaced by the match at halftime with an irregular heart rate before Port displayed a result of 13.7 (85) at 10.17 (77) at SCG on Saturday.
The Brownlow 2021 medalist had tried to continue playing after having long discussions with the Power doctor in the second quarter.
But the wines withdrew soon after, replaced by the beginner of the club Rory Atkins.
The wines have succeeded in his heart disease since his diagnosis in 2022 and were underlying for the last time by a match in the victory of the round 10 of last year on Hawthorn.
In his absence, the Skipper of Port Connor Rozee (one goal, 27 eliminations) again proved to be damaging, so much so that the switch of Swan, James Jordon, was far from his post in the quarter of a time.
Zak Butters also dominated with 27 eliminations and seven authorizations.
Willie Rioli, after a difficult week as a last native AFL star to be abused racial, scored three goals to help keep Sydney without victory at their home this season.
Rioli was at the source of the first major, freeing Mitch Georgiades (three goals) at 50, who then spotted an unmanned Sam Powell (two) in the goal.
The defender of swans Nick Blakey was too slow to read the room, with Powell-Pepper who slips easily.
Isaac Heeney (two goals) managed a superb six -point pointer from the pocket to answer, but visitors stayed at the top, taking advantage of an advance of 4.2 (26) to 1.2 (8) in quarters.
Desperate to stop the ascendancy of the port, the boss of the swans Dean Cox moved to the bench in the second term and called Blakey, Justin Mcinerney, Oliver Florent and Hayden McLean in a group of mid-quarters.

The replacement for swans Aaron Francis then scored three consecutive goals himself during the last mandate to help reduce the deficit to 16 points.
It became 10 when McClean targeted in the 31st minute, but during the soaring, the swans could only add three more and more when their return did not succeed.
