McGee was one of the most remarkable players on the Missouri list.
“On behalf of the University and our entire department, we want to express our condolences to the family, friends and teammates of Todric,” said Missouri state director Patrick Randsdell.
“This tragedy has shaken our football program at the heart.”
McGee’s coach Ryan Beard shared a declaration on social media saying: “While I sit and think about the last 24 hours, the thoughts of the contagious smile and the competitive spirit of Todric are the things that I see most.
“There is no greater honor than being called coach and it is something that we do not take lightly.
“You look at young people become men before your eyes and they are part of who you are. You like these guys like your own sons.
“On behalf of the most elegant football family, we send our deepest condolences to Todric’s family. We pray for them to find peace and know that Todric will be forever in our hearts.
