Lydia McLaughlin, who appeared on two seasons of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, has a broken heart after her brother was shot by police earlier this week.
“My family and I are devastated by the loss of my brother,” said TV star on Friday, 44.
“We are grateful to the outpouring of love and support of his friends, family and community. We kindly ask for privacy while we cry. ”
The representatives of McLaughlin did not immediately return the request for comments on page six.
Newport Beach police confirmed on page six that their police arrested Geoffrey Srayam Stirling Thursday around 9:15 p.m. local time.
He led his motorcycle to the West Coast motorway between Avenue Superior and Hoag Hospital.
We are told that Stirling was arrested for a “traffic violation”, how “unworthy and assaulted the officer”.
“During the violent altercation that followed, Stirling managed to withdraw the taser issued by the agent’s belt department and tried to deploy him several times against the officer,” said a public information official. “At this point, a shooting involving an officer has occurred.”
We are told that Stirling was taken to a local hospital, where he was declared dead. He was 45 years old.
The California Ministry of Justice conducts an independent investigation into the issue, and the Newport Beach police said: “Once their investigation is completed, the results will be put in the DoJ’s special proceedings section for an independent exam.”
McLaughlin has not yet addressed the question on social networks, but shared an article in honor of the Good Friday which is read as follows: “He heals the broken heart and links their wounds.”
Several friends and another “housewife” flocked to the Instagram post to give their condolences.
Vicki Gunvalson commented: “Lydia – I’m really sorry to hear about the loss of your brother! My heart hurts for you and your family. May peace be with you. ❤️😢.
Stirling’s death comes six months after McLaughlin lost his mother, Judy Stirling, who also appeared on “Rhoc”.
The former Bravo star wrote via Facebook in October 2024: “My mother died last night.
“We are broken with the heart but we know that she dances with Jesus. Fairst, confetti bombs and crowns like the sky have never seen before. What is in the cat is in the kitten and I promise to continue to make you proud @ocjudymom”
