Lady Gaga had no problem maneuvering through the microphone problems that tormented the start of her “chaos” in the desert window for Coachella on weekends two. The singer’s head microphone started to enter and cut during “Abracadabra”, the second song in his set at the head of the poster on Friday evening.
However, before descending towards the front of the stage, Gaga slyly exchanged the broken equipment for an ordinary laptop microphone. She continued through her choreography without missing a beat – holding the microphone in one hand and a cane in the other. It took less than a few minutes for Gaga to emerge with a new head microphone which took place without problem for the rest of the night.
Gaga apologized later for dysfunction while he was on the piano, saying to festival -goers: “I’m sorry that my microphone was broken for a second … At least you know how to sing live.” She continued: “I suppose that everything we can do is our best and I certainly give you my best tonight.”
In a review, VarietyIt is Chris Willman on the performance of the weekend: “The biggest difference between Gaga and some of the other coachella artists will almost say: live song.
Between the wonderfully raw performance of Go-Go earlier in the day and the Lady Gaga set, you could attend a lot of Memorex performance, changing YouTube channels looking for someone putting a real voice on the line. You can roughly anticipate that Gaga does not mime (or at least not often), but it was always a pleasure to hear it slightly drop in the microphone from time to time, as if we needed proof that it delivered the outdoor goods. “”
Creative made in part with the choreographer Parris Goebel, the performance of Gaga’s Coachella Weekend Two has largely remained the same as the weekend. It will bring “Mayhem” on the road later this year with dates of tour through North America, Europe and the United Kingdom which should launch in July. This range also includes shows in Mexico, Brazil and Singapore.
