A man who was shot dead earlier this week at Lemon Grove was identified on Friday.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to information around 9:05 p.m. Tuesday to assault with a deadly weapon in Broadway, where they found Julio Orozco Cabrera, 25, suffering from traumatic injuries, according to the Sher Diego County Sheriff.
The investigators said that the suspect, Marvin Lester Sears, 59, had been arrested on the scene and had a previous relationship with the victim.
Detectives continue to question witnesses and collect evidence. The reason and the circumstances remained under investigation.
