Tottenham boss, Ange Postcoglou, has provided a disturbing fitness update on the son Heung-Min.
The South Korean missed the defeat last weekend in Wolves and the victory in the quarter-final of the Europa League in Eintracht Frankfurt Thursday with a foot injury.
Spurs return to action on Monday against Nottingham Forest – but his son will not participate after being excluded once again.
And Postcoglou says he did not know when his captain, who scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists this season, will come back in great shape.
“He has been dealing with a foot problem for some time, so it’s time as good as anything to give him the right time to rely,” said Postcoglou. “It will certainly be missing on Monday.
Asked when his son could come back, the Spurs’ boss said, “Not really sure. It is something with which he has been dealing for a little while and it happened to the point where not only did it improve, but it deteriorated, and this is one of those things where rest will be as important as anything else with this kind of injury.

“So we will give him this time. Sonny is the kind of guy who always wants to train, so we will put him on the ice for the next few days and see how he reacts to this.
Meanwhile, James Maddison is also a doubt for the visit of Forest after being forced first half against Frankfurt.
Postcoglou said: “We had the day of leave yesterday because we did not come back before the first hours. “Just to say that he will be a little painful, so he is a doubt for Monday.
Radu Dragusin is now the only other absent from Tottenham’s injury after Dejan Kulusevski and Kevin Danso both presented the bench against Francfurt
