Bryce James is officially a wildcat.
The Middle Child of LeBron signed a letter of intention to play for the University of Arizona, making him the second star of basketball in the family division I behind his older brother and former USC goalkeeper, Bonny.
“What’s going on on WildCat Nation, I can’t wait to get there and start working,” said Bryce in a video published on social networks.
A three-star recruit, Bryce was not an All-American from McDonald’s, like LeBron and Bonny were in front of him. However, he was the 257th row player in the country and the 45th shooter, according to the composite classification of 247sports.
The 6-feet 5-inch Bryce was a major contributor for a team from Sierra Canyon which finished 27-7 and won the California state title. Bryce collected three points, five rebounds and two assists in the last match.
He would have had offers from Ohio State and Duquesne, where his father’s former secondary teammate, Dru Joyce III, is currently a coach.

In addition to Bryce, two five -star perspectives have signed with the Wildcats: Koa Peat and Brayden Burries.
Arizona reached Sweet 16 under coach Tommy Lloyd in 2024-25 and will return the upper guard Jaden Bradley. Waying sustainable in the PAC-12 and now the Big 12, the Arizona has four appearances in the Final Four and a national championship under the former head coach Lute Olson.
It is not clear if Bryce has the potential of the NBA, which remains a debate on his brother Bonny.
After a single season without peculiarity at the USC, Bronny was drafted in the second round of the NBA 2024 draft and received a four -year contract and completely guaranteed that criticism seemed to have more to do with the fact of pleasing his father than adding a promising young guard.
Since he and his father have become the first Duo Father-son in the history of the NBA to share the court, as they did during the opening of the season, the 3-foot 3-inch bronny has mainly played in League G, where he has discreetly made significant progress and now has an average of 21.9 points and 5.5 assistance per game.
But despite his improvements on the ground, Bronny is continued to be criticized as a “baby nepo”, whose NBA career was given to him on a set. And LeBron also criticized the perception he pushed Bonny under the spotlight.
Stephen A. Smith d’Espn publicly commented Bronny and the “position he was adopted by his father” leading to a confrontation of the court between the Pundit Sportif and the Quadruple MVP NBA in a Lakers match earlier this month.

“My first thought to everything is that I always try to let him go through one ear and the other, to lower my head and to come to work and to be positive every day,” James told The Athletic in a rare exclusive interview. “But sometimes it feeds me a little. I see everything people say, and people think, as, I am a robot, as I have no feelings or emotions.
“This is what (Director General of Lakers) Rob (Pelinka) wants me to do as a young man, to come, to play in the G League and to learn from afar on the bench while watching the Lakers play.”
The results were perceptible for anyone who follows the scores of the Ligue G box.
Never known as a perimeter elite shooter at the USC or high school, the accuracy of 3 bronny points was held up to 38% this season, and he made 81.5% of his attempts to launch free.
Unsurprisingly, Bryce chose to frequent a Nike school, just as Bonny did with the USC. LeBron is famous for a Nike for Life agreement would have estimated about 1 billion dollars.
