Faced with a touch of injuries to key players in the position, Minnesota twins should call the Top 100 Consensus Luke Keaschall from Triple-A St. Paul this weekend to provide programming assistance, said a team source Athletics.
Already without the third basic player Royce Lewis due to an injury to the spring hamstrings, the twins placed the outcropper Matt Wallner on the injured list Thursday with a left hamstring tension.
The availability of the public service player Willi Castro (oblique) and the Carlos Correa (wrist) is also uncertain before a three-game road series against the Braves of Atlanta which begins on Friday evening.
With Jose Miranda (hand) and Austin Martin (ischio-legs) on the list of Triple-A wounded, the twins turn to Keaschall, their choice of second round draft in 2023 and the player of the year in reception of the organization, for what will be its debut in the Grande League League.

Keaschall struck .303 / .420 / .483 with 15 circuits and 23 interceptions in 103 games against Double-A and Triple-A Pitching last season despite a torn elbow ligament which limited the second basic / voltiger player mainly to the first goal and an designated striker. He finally suffered Tommy John surgery in August.
Keaschall had not yet played an external field for Saint-Paul this season while he accelerates his launch progress after surgery, but he resumed the action to the second goal, with time in DH, striking .261 / .379 / .348 with a circuit and four interceptions in 14 games.
The right-handed striker ranked n ° 3 on my pre-season list of the 40 best prospects of the twins and ranked n ° 62 AthleticsTop 100 on the league scale. Keaschall impressed coaches during spring training with their solid control of striking areas, their underestimated power potential and its speed higher than average, profiling as a high-end battle in time.
With the planned arrival of Keaschall, the Twins also acquired the public service player Jonah Bride des Marlins de Miami for cash considerations on Thursday, adding it to the active list like the corresponding movement for Wallner which goes to the IL.
The bride was designated for assignment with Miami after starting to start a start of 4 for 40 (0.100), but the 29 -year -old right -handed striker was productive for the Marlins last year, striking .276 / .357 / .461 with 11 circuits in 71 games. He is also a career striker .297 / .432 / .509 in some parts of three seasons triple-a while playing each spot on the field but at the stop.

Keaschall is a large part of the future of the team, while the bride is a short -term depth for a hit programming, although it is possible that the bride can make his way in a longer stay given how desperate the twins are desperate for any type of offensive production.
It was another slow start for the battles of the twins, the programming collectively .216 with a .621 OPS which ranks 25th on 30 teams. Wallner, Harrison Bader and Ty France are the only twin strikers with an OPS above average in 19 games, and Wallner is likely to miss the rest of April.
Now, the twins are looking for Keaschall, 22, and Brooks Lee, 24 years old, to provide an essential spark with most of their basic strikers in difficulty or struck.
