Lauren Sánchez celebrates her trip to space with a little help from Kim Kardashian, her sister Khloé and their manager Maman-Slash Kris Jenner. After his return home on April 14, the reality TV trio sent a handbag inspired by the spaceship, designed by Judith Leiber and costing $ 7,000 to Sanchez. Called the “UFO orbit bag”, the handbag is covered with geometric crystals and promises to “turn heads on any orbit”.
Remaining on the theme, Sanchez then shared his new accessory on Instagram with an appropriate legend: “Out of this world!”

Sánchez’s extraterrestrial trip was the very first space flight with a fully female team. Other passengers included CBS Gayle King, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn, former scientist of NASA Rockets Aisha Bowe and pop star Katy Perry. Before their descent, the singer “I Kissa a Girl” treated her passenger colleagues an interpretation of “What a Wonderful World”.
Perry later explained why she refused to sing one of her own songs: “It’s not about singing my songs,” she said. “It is a collective energy and space for future women. It is this wonderful world that we see right there and to appreciate it. It is all for the benefit of the earth.”

Despite Perry’s feelings, however, the Blue Origin flight has since been criticized by fans and celebrities for its high costs and carbon emissions.
“What is it for? Is it historic that you go on tour? Today with Jenna & Friends. “Spatial exploration had to deepen our knowledge and help humanity. What will they make up there who improved us here? ”
King, for his part, was quick to defend himself in response to Munn’s comments: “There was nothing frivolous in what we do,” she said in his program, CBS Mornings. “So, you know, I am very disappointed and very saddened by this (criticism). And I also say that – what is to inspire other women and young girls? Please don’t know it.”
