KYIV – China provides weapons to Russia, said Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, citing information from the Ukraine intelligence and security services.
Supplies include barrel powder and artillery, with Chinese companies working in Russia, he said at a press conference in kyiv on Thursday, adding that kyiv will provide more detailed information on cooperation next week.
Officially, China claimed to be neutral in the large -scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, calling for a “peaceful and diplomatic resolution of the conflict”. But in February 2022, shortly before the Kremlin launched its total assault, Moscow and Beijing announced a “limitless partnership agreement”.
