Youtuber Mrbeast fans who signed up for an “unforgettable” experience of Las Vegas obtained what they asked … Quite simply not in the way they expected.
Some indignant fans said that the Las Vegas event announced as an “immersive” experience was far from their expectations, and complained of having to wait for hours in their hotel rooms and only received a “mystery bag” which contained custom items from its online store.
The three-day event at Resorts World Las Vegas was billed as an “immersive” and “unforgettable” experience, according to Klas-TV from Las Vegas, which said the tickets cost about $ 1,000.
It included a limited -time hotel package with a three -night stay, an exclusive mystery bag with MRBEAST goods with good gift potential for a fan and “activation on the theme of MRBEAST on site”, reported the NBC KSNV affiliate.
The event from April 13 to 15 was in partnership with Le Populaire Youtuber. Following complaints, it seems that Resorts World deleted the event from its website.
The guests told Klas that Chaos had started when they had registered at the hotel. They were invited to wait a surprise gift in their rooms, the news station reported.
“I was told to wait in my room for two days for an upcoming package, so I legitimized two days in my room so that an upcoming package, and it was a box of chocolates,” said Theresa Metta.
Metta said fans had a mystery bag promised, but when he received hers, he contained authorization items from the MRBEAST online store.
“There were children’s shorts, an additional small shirt, a hat and an average shirt,” she told the press station. “If you are going on MRBEAST.Storate their goods at the moment, all this is in authorization for $ 9. We were told that we would get an exclusive merchant. Obviously, this is not the case.”
Travel Vloggers Abed Nader and Chris Sawyer of Random Acute published a YouTube video on their experience.
“I told Chris that I am ready to leave,” said Nader at some point in the video. “I’m not going to spend another dollar here at Resorts World, not in the casino. I don’t know, the lack of information.”
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has not published an official declaration on the event.
In response to the complaint of a fan on X, he said: “Hey! It is certainly not the experience that we hoped for they would deliver. My team is already on it – I would personally I would like to catch up with you and someone else by inviting everyone to visit my real studio! I can’t wait to meet you all and my team tends to everyone.”
Random Recend posted on X earlier this week that the MRBEAST team contacted them and said that Resorts World had sent an email saying that the guests would be fully reimbursed.
MrBeast and Resorts World Las Vegas did not immediately respond to a request for comments on Thursday.
