- The Chinese New York district is full of delicious and inexpensive bites to eat.
- Some of my favorite places to visit are mei lai wah and super taste.
- I love lavender green tea to Prince Tea House.
As New York local, Chinatown is one of my favorite neighborhoods to visit, and I often find myself alone or with friends for fast and inexpensive bites to eat.
The district is exceptionally accessible on foot and has many large restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and bread stores to explore.
If you plan a visit, I recommend that you bring money, allowing you to walk to see what places speak to your stomach, and, of course, to come hungry – Chinatown restaurants are known to serve generous portions.
With all this in mind, that’s all I ordered in town for $ 25.
Mei Lai Wah is a viral place that lives up to the media threw.

The extended menu of Mei Lai Wah has more than 40 dishes less than $ 10.
However, do not be dissuaded by the long line. The command is simple (there are two automated kiosks outside the shop window), and the employees are effective, so the line moves quickly. Believe me, the wait is worth it.
Just be aware of the weather during your visit. There are no available seats, so many customers are perching on the sidewalks nearby to enjoy their food.
What I order: I always receive a barbecue pork bun. The baked baked has a golden crust and on the interior, with generous quantities of ranking of sweet and soft pork. Everyone costs $ 2.50.
Super Taste gives me the best blow for my money and never sacrifices quality.

I love free homemade sauces available to dress Super Taste dumplings.
The restaurant has the best crunchy chili oil I have met; It is full -saved and just has the right amount of heat. I also like the sauce of the house of the house.
Super Taste has a small interior lounge area with a handful of tables of two and four people who are for the first time, first served.
What I order: You can’t go wrong with steamed pork and sprayed chives dumplings in free homemade sauces. Ten dumplings cost about $ 5.
Shu Jiao Fu Zhou is a hot spot for the residents and tourists from New York.
Alison Van Glad
The residents and tourists from New York flock to Shu Jiao Fu Zhou for its selection of soups, noodles and dumplings – many items on the “hot menu” are $ 6 or less.
In my opinion, peanut noodles are more than a simple simple and vegetarian dish. The peanut sauce is silky and has the perfect combination of sweet and tangy flavors to complete the soft noodles.
Shu Jiao Fu Zhao has family style seats, so any open seat is a fair game.
What I order: For just over $ 3, you get a whole wheat noodle assistance plate with peanut butter sauce.
Prince Tea House is the ideal place to relax with a friend.
Alison Van Glad
Prince Tea House was the most expensive stop in my food range, but I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere is relaxing, offering the ideal place for a solo meeting with a good book or for a conversation with friends.
Each teapot is located on a platform with a light of tea lit below so that each casting is beautiful and hot. The menu also offers a number of brunch, snacks and dessert items to satisfy a sweet tooth.
What I order: A pot of lavender green milk tea, which has the perfect level of sweetness and is a beautiful creamy shade of purple. For $ 11 (more tip), each tea jar is beautifully served with a set of tea cups and matching saucers.
