San Jose – Two South Bay adolescents were arrested for suspicion of human trafficking, police said.
The case came from a fight between a 16 -year -old girl and a 14 -year -old girl last November in San Jose, San Jose police officer Tanya Hernandez said on Thursday.
During an investigation, the police learned that the girls were victims of the trafficking, said Hernandez.
In January, detectives identified a 17 -year -old Morgan Hill boy and a 17 -year -old San Martin boy as suspects in the case, Hernandez said. Mandates have been delivered for their arrest.
Hernandez said that a suspect was arrested on February 26 in Morgan Hill and the second on March 31 in San Martin. They were both reserved in the Santa Clara County Minors’ Salle.
