Police from San Diego published images on Wednesday from the deadly shooter of a man by elite police shooters at Scripps Ranch.
Erick Kulokow, 59, was shot dead on March 25 on Angelique Street after the police received a report from a man brandishing a firearm in the workers in the neighborhood.
The published video shows images of a kulokow police helicopter standing barefoot in the aisle of a house holding a pistol and wearing ear covers.
“He has a 1911 (pistol) or a semi -car in hand right now towards the air – not towards us, just the air at the moment,” we can hear the voice of an officer.
A worker from the fight against Orkin pests can be seen hiding behind his work truck in front of the place where Kulokow is located.
According to police, the helicopter team used its public address system to give Kulakow’s requests to drop the weapon. He did not comply, said police officials.
Orkin’s worker can be seen rushing on the back of his vehicle through a small window.
Two Swat officers with rifles have positioned themselves nearby while a police intervention team gathered in an adjacent street, police said.
Police say Kulawkow stood on the driveway holding the pistol for about 45 minutes after being spotted by the helicopter crew.
Kulakow can be seen walking to the end of his street towards Angelique Street and pointing the weapon to the police intervention team.
The two Swat police officers shot their weapons, but Kulakow was only struck once, police officials said.
Images of cameras carried on the body of the Swat officers show the moments they fired on Kulakow.
In helicopter images, which blur Kulakow’s body, the man can be seen falling to the ground after pointing the weapon to the response team.
Kulakow was declared dead on the scene.
A loaded handgun would have been recovered on the scene.
San Diego police identified the SWAT officers who drew their weapons as Brandon Jordan, a veteran of the 17 -year -old department, and Chris Lingenhol, a veteran of the 10 -year department.
The incident is the subject of an investigation by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office by virtue of a county policy which prevents organizations from the application of laws from investigating their own fire.
The incident will also be examined by the district prosecutor’s office.
