Justin Simmons has many personal distinctions.
Simmons is a quadruple All-Pro and a double Bowler Pro. In 2022, security ended as a co-leader of the league in interceptions.
There has been a familiar name since entering the League as a third round of Denver Broncos in 2016, but security admits that something is missing.
Play for a winner and a potential competitor of the Super Bowl.
During his eight seasons with broncos, Simmons did not make the playoffs once. It was a difficult pill for safety to swallow after the team hoisted the Lombardi trophy the season before its draft. Denver went 9-7 in his first season with Denver, but the team failed to achieve a record for victories during their mandate with the team.
Last season, Simmons joined the Falcons of Atlanta. Simmons thought that the Falcons had a chance to conclude. The team signed Kirk Cousins as a free agency and did not lack weapons in attack with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts. Defense was also not lacking in renowned talents. Simmons joined Grady Jarrett, Matthew Judon and Jessie Bates III. Despite the talent on both sides of the ball, Atlanta finished 8-9. Good for second place in the division, but not good enough to make the playoffs.
In 2025, Simmons hoped to make the playoffs for the first team. In an appearance on Up & AdamsSimmons were asked what was attractive to him with regard to the search for his next team.

Not produced, Simmons mentioned the Buffalo Bills among three teams that he would potentially like to join. He added that playing for one of them would be special.
“I said it in a podcast a few weeks ago,” Simmons told Kay Adams. “Maybe a month ago. But teams like Buffalo, Philly, Cincinnati – shake like that – which have always been in the mix … It would be special.”
Buffalo’s security room currently includes Taylor Rapp, Cole Bishop, Darrick Forrest and Damar Hamlin. If the invoices do not add another security in the project, the team could call Simmons.
