Laurence Fishburne couldn’t help but become emotional while learning more about a branch previously unknown to its family tree Find your roots.
In a clip of overview of the episode of tonight, the 63 -year -old Matrix Star finally reacts to learning the identity of his biological father, who is not the man he knew to be his father for a large part of his life.
“I have all the sensations, as they say,” Fishburne told the host Henry Louis Gates Jr. when he was starting to laugh. “I have all the sensations, jump. I am intrigued. I am relieved. I am confused. And I am doing so well with all this. ”

THE Find your roots The team was able to discover the identity of the biological father of Fishburne by the use of DNA tests and genetic research. “I am doing really well with all this because I no longer have to speculate on this subject,” added Fishburne. “I don’t have to ask myself every time I look up and think:” Oh, is this guy? ” »»
Gates then asked Fishburne if he felt “less like an orphan” after receiving a photograph from his biological father. “Yeah, absolutely. I feel less isolated,” he said. “And … another. Yeah, I feel less. ”
THE John Wick Star was born in Augusta, Georgia, in 1961 of Hattie Bell Fishburne, professor of mathematics and sciences of the junior High School, and to the juvenile correctional officer Laurence John “Fish” Fishburne Jr., that he knew how to be his father. The couple separated when they were a child, with fishburne seeing his father much less often after he and his mother moved to Brooklyn.
