Four alumni from Jefferson high school were a-rockin ‘and Rollin’ all weekend.
Ancient Happy days Stars Henry Winkler, Ron Howard, Anson Williams and Don Most gathered on Saturday for a special meeting at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh.
“I’m just emotional here,” Winkler, 79, told the crowd while sharing the scene with his very loved sitcom Costars from the 70s and the 80s. “This is the first time that we have appeared in this way in 50 years.”
While the crowd applauded, Howard joked: “But it looks like 50 minutes because we have so fun, and it was our excellent excuse to come together, then thank you.”

Located in Milwaukee, Happy days Followed the life of a family living in the 1950s and 60s, focusing on the teenager Richie Cunningham (Howard) and his friends potsie Weber (Williams), Ralph Malph (most), and the bad local boy, Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli (Winkler). The show launched 11 seasons on ABC from 1974 to 1984, generating several fallout, including Laverne and Shirley And Mork & Mindy.
The panel has also seen the creator of the Winkler Praise Garry Marshall series, while taking the time to remember the many actors who have died since the end of the series.
“First of all, Garry Marshall was, like a brilliant creator, a great writer,” he started with the New York Post. “They chose a wonderful cast – some of them, unfortunately, are no longer on earth with us – but we played together, we stayed together and we worked hard together. No one thought they were better than anyone.”
Howard added: “I say it was a huge key. The show evolved because, really, a whole … We were a unity, we were a community, and also, I think that for us, it was a bit like our age story.
THE Happy days The deceased actors are Tom Bosley (Howard), Erin Moran (Joanie), Pat Morita (Arnold), Al Molinaro (Al) and Heather O’Rourke (Heather). The other stars of the show include Marion Ross, Scott Baio, Lynda Goodfriend, Cathy Silvers, Ted McGinley and Linda Poul.
Although Steel City marked a first for the former comrades, who rarely come together for public events, their friendships have persisted over the years. In 2023, Williams married partner Sharon Maharry at an intimate wedding in Ojai where the most was his best man. The following year, Howard presented himself on Winkler’s book tour for his memories, Be Henry: Le Fonz … and beyond, To show the support and take some photos.

Last year, Howard and Winkler joined forces for a tribute to the show at the Emmy 2024, who saw them awarding a prize while being in a recreation from the entire disc of Arnold.
More recently, three of the four participated in a round table in Megacon Orlando. Howard, Williams, and the most thoughtful about their relationship with the series, Howard admitting that he had recently watched his first episode of the program “in time” which he described as “the greatest feeling”.
“Because I know why the show was a success,” he said. “It was good. And we were good.”
