Angel Postcoglou doubled his criticism of Var and revealed that he felt “ disconnected ” of the game following the denial of Tottenham of an equalizer against Chelsea after a long delay.
The Spurs fell to their 16th Premier League defeat of the season Thursday evening while the head of Enzo Fernandez continued the remarkable speech of the results at home of the Blues against their London rivals.
But it was the Australian and his team which were the story of the night because the loss revealed familiar cracks between the club and its fans base. Postcoglou was in conflict with Spurs fans – who hooked his decision to replace Lucas Bergvall by Pape Matar Sarr – then the officials after having expressed the long -range strike from the Senegalese for a fault in construction.
Friday, the Australian doubled his criticism of technology which denied his team a point of moral formatting and wondered why he was alone to slam the system.
“Maybe I was influenced by England and the former first division,” he said. “I loved the frenzied rhythm. I could have looked at other divisions, but it was always England, end -to -end stuff, speed and tempo, I loved it.
“I tried to design a match plan that has tempo and energy because I think if you want people in there, you want them not to have them. Yesterday, there was 12 minutes of additional time, this is not the reason why Var was brought.

The North London Club fell to its 16th Prime League campaign defeat in Stamford Bridge

Postcoglou said he had made a mistake by celebrating the goal of Sarr who had finally been excluded
“I am the lonely voice. I don’t hear anyone else say. This is why I am sitting here and say that I may be disconnected. When I retire, I will probably look at less football and find another hobby.
“Var has been here for a long time, taking six minutes and up to date, I don’t know if someone will intervene or not. It seems that everyone agrees and this is where disconnection is for me.
Postcoglou was involved in an post-match freezing interview with Sky Sports and tried to minimize a moment during the second half when he seemed to sow his ear towards the external end to Stamford Bridge.
The gesture came immediately after the Sarr strike in the 69th minute. A few moments earlier, Postcoglou had replaced Sarr for Bergvall and the fans of the Spurs responded with hoots and songs: “You don’t know what you are doing.”
Apparently in response, Postcoglou turned to the outside section and took his ear.
The Spurs’ boss said that it was a mistake to celebrate the objective and cited previous experiences in Scotland with similar satisfaction strikes in which he opted for a celebration.
“I made a mistake last night in that I celebrated a goal. Since Var came here, there have been four or five incidents in Scotland and I thought I will not really celebrate the goals.
“ I just felt that we needed something, to crack Pope (Matar Sarr), I heard that the fans were not happy and I felt the need to celebrate and it could be a real change of momentum to finish hard. My mistake was to celebrate a goal, Var defeated me, I will not start again.
