John Harbaugh has signed a three -year contract extension to stay at the Ravens in Baltimore throughout the 2028 season.
The 62 -year -old man, who has been in charge of ravens since 2008, entered the last year of his existing agreement.
On Friday, however, Baltimore announced that Harbaugh had committed his future at the franchise.
Among the current coaches, only Mike Tomlin of Pittsburgh Steelers (18) was with the same team longer than Harbaugh.
He is the most prosperous coach of the ravens of all time – more than 17 seasons in Baltimore, his record is 185-115. Harbaugh also led Baltimore to a Super Bowl title in 2012.
He is one of the five coaches in the history of the NFL to take a team to the playoffs at least 12 times during his first 17 seasons. The others are Pete Carroll, Bud Grant, Mike Holmgren and Mike McCarthy.

“Harbaugh, 62, is just as passionate and motivated as ever to lead Baltimore to a third Super Bowl and second in his mandate,” said the Ravens when the news was announced.
Baltimore fell just below the Super Bowl in the past two seasons – they have lost the AFC championship match against the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023.
And then last year, the Ravens were exceeded by the Buffalo Bills in a biting divisional qualifying match.
Harbaugh has built a formidable attack, led by the brilliant quarter-Arrière Lamar Jackson and the destructive ball carrier Derrick Henry.
