A delivery driver from Amazon was arrested after allegedly assaulted people while working in the County of Los Angeles.
Fernando Barreto-Hernandez, a 24-year-old resident in Los Angeles, was arrested on January 24, according to a press release from the Glendale police department. While working as Amazon delivery driver, he would have attacked a woman on January 21 while walking near Brand Boulevard and Chevy Chase Drive in Glendale.
Three days later, Barto-Hernandez was arrested as part of a similar incident that occurred in December, in which a minor was attacked, police said.
Barto-Hernandez is out of police custody and has been accused of obscene or lascivious acts of a child under the age of 14 and to reach a person against their will for sexual excitement. He pleaded not guilty.
Barto-Hernandez worked for Amazon, Amazon Flex and Fedex. Anyone with information on other potential victims is requested to contact detectives with the assault unit of the Glendale police service to (818) 548-3106.
