- Mollie Davies and her partner were delighted to try the Disney catering plan during their last trip.
- The prepaid couple $ 95 per day covering meals, drinks and snacks in the parks.
- Davies said that if they had paid his pocket for their meals, they would have saved $ 100.
My partner and I visited Walt Disney World for the third time last September.
The last time we visited Walt Disney World, I spent a lot of money to eat and drink. As we were on the Disney property for the first time, we jumped at the opportunity to add the reinstated Disney catering plan.
The plan is only available for customers staying in resort and costs $ 95 per adult per day. Each person on the plan obtains a quick service meal, 1 table service meal, a drink per meal, which can be alcoholic or non -alcoholic, and a drink or a snack selected per day.
We stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for six nights. Our Disney catering plan totaled $ 1,131 for the two of us on a six -night stay.
Everything was paid from the start, which helped budgeting. We have bracelets that we have operated to buy the meals.

Disney catering plan is perfect for planners
In terms of, we could eat 170 locations Throughout Walt Disney World Resort. It is an excellent configuration if you are ready to do a little planning while the restaurants of the table reserve.
Customers of the Disney Resort hotel can make reservations for the duration of their stay (up to 10 days) from 60 days before their arrival.
My partner and I are large planners, so getting our ducks in a row was a breeze. Regarding our 60 -day reservation, we had a list of table service restaurants that we wanted to visit and coordinate the reservations with the relevant days that we would be in the parks. We were lucky and obtained almost all the reservations we wanted.

Good food was more important to us than earning money
For us, the experience of having the restoration plan was to be able to enjoy the Disney food that we love and to try new places with the convenience of a simple stroke of my magic group. For this reason, we were less concerned with obtaining the most value for what we paid.
We found the quick value of incredible value, especially since we could taste premium drinks using our drinking allocation alongside our main, on our side and our main snack. This has made the relaxed meals feel more like a treat.

The character restoration options are well worth using your credits. They are a great option for customers who like food but also Disney entertainment. Many of these experiences require only one table service credit, and you have the opportunity to meet characters, get autographs and take special photos.
Our off -competition meals were both in the table service. The best was Topolino’s Terrace. I always dream of my waffles of sure cream with maple syrup with orange flavor. The meal would have cost about $ 102.

Another was our trip to 1900 Park Price, which would have cost $ 164 in total. We saw Cinderella, Mirabel, Tiana and Aladdin.
The buffet really surprised us. It made hot and high quality foods, including the succulent decrease coast. We thought that these two meals of table service character were the best value of our entire trip.
It can be too much food
To get the most out of the plan, we had to commit to eating in Disney every day.
But some friends of the trip were not on the plan and we ate outside of Disney for a few days. This meant that we had three spare credits on the last day. We had chicken straps to share with our friends and picked up a quick pizza at the hotel on our way to the airport.
As we had the plan, we did not want to be a waste, and some days, we found ourselves to eat more than we would have had that we did not prepare.
For example, our meal at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant of Magic Kingdom and Casey’s Corner was certainly not necessary, and we felt that we were a little greedy.

Tony’s Town Square’s restaurant ended up being our least preferred to restaurants. My chicken amonggiana simply was not up to others that I had. It was a large portion but did not have a particularly fresh taste.

If you find a little food, I recommend using snack credits to pick up a muffin or something from a bakery to enjoy breakfast the next morning.
We have not completely broken, but we always see the value
We calculated that if we had bought everything without the Disney catering plan, we would have spent a total of $ 1,005. Although we have not even struck, we always think that the plans are of good value.
If you want to have the chance to dine in some of the most expensive locations for an all-in price, this is a great option. Our expenditure value could have been much higher if we had planned our meals in this way and chose to add alcoholic drinks to each meal.

Although we have not completely recovered the value we spent on the Disney catering plan, we certainly had the possibility. For example, with each table service meal, we could have an alcoholic drink, such as a cocktail or a premium drink, as well as rechargeable pen drinks. When we added these drinks, we have considerably increased the value of our meals.
The Disney catering plan may not always save you money, but is more a method of convenience. If you are a family that plans to have a seated meal every day and enjoy cocktails, the plan will work well for you. Just make sure you book your reservations in advance.
