The authorities identified the 10 people – a pilot and nine passengers – who were killed on a small plane which first disappeared before crashing on sea ice off the west coast of Alaska this week .
The bodies of the victims aboard the convicted air flight were discovered Friday with the wreckage of the plane by rescue teams which have traveled the last known location of the plane before disappearing Thursday, according to the Ministry of Public Security of Alaska.
The pilot was identified as Chad Antill, 34, of Nome, said the police.
Residents of Wasilla, Liane Ryan, 52, and Andrew Gonzalez, 30, were identified as passengers, in addition to the residents of Anchorage Kameron Hartvigson, 41, Ian Hofman, 45, and the Rhône Baumgartner, 46.
The remaining passengers include Donnell Erickson, 58, of Nome; Jadee Moncur, 52, from Eagle River; And the residents of Unalakleet Talaluk Kathatag, 34, and Carol Mooeres, 48, said the authorities.
The bodies will be transported to the office of the state medical examiner in anchorage for autopsies, said officials, noting that the closest to parents have been informed.
Baumgartner and Hartvigson both worked in public service operations for the Alaska tribal native consortium and were on a work trip when they went on board the flight, the organization confirmed on Saturday morning.
The Cessna caravan left Unalakleet around 2:37 p.m. Thursday and headed for Nome, about 150 miles away, but lost contact with those responsible for less than an hour later.
