Houston Plane Fire: Complete interview with Flight Passenger
Ashlyn Sharp spoke with the journalist of Fox 26 Jade Flury after having evacuated a plane united with a wing that caught fire.
Houes – A flight from Houston to New York had to be evacuated after an engine problem forced him to interrupt the takeoff, according to the FAA.
What we know:
The FAA says that the crew of the United Airline flight 1382 had to stop their takeoff from the George Bush Intercontinental / Houston airport due to a “engine problem” pointed out “around 8:35 am on Sunday.
A video acquired by Fox 26 Houston from someone on the plane shows that the United Airlines plane on fire.
In the video, you can hear a on -board agent ask passengers to stay in their seats.

The passengers had to use the stairs and the emergency slide to get off the plane, according to the Houston fire service. The video shows a group of leaflets standing on the tarmac.
No injury has been reported.
Houston Fire says they did not have to put out a fire as part of the incident.
The Airbus A319 was flying for Laguardia airport in New York.
104 passengers and five crew members were on board at the time.
Another plane will take the leaflets in New York at 12:30 p.m., according to Houston airports.

Fox 26 journalist Jade Flury spoke of a call to Zoom with a passenger who shared the video of the incident.
Ashlyn Sharp said she was trying to sleep during takeoff when she heard a loud noise and felt the plane shake.
“We were not so high, I don’t think so,” she said. “It looked like something flew in the engine or something. (He) frightened everyone. It was then that we all looked out the window and saw the engine and the ‘Fire wing, and we could feel smoke inside. “
Sharp said she was able to keep calm until other people start to panic and try to leave alone. She also felt worried about the accidents of the deadly plane in DC and Philadelphia in the last week.
“I knew we were going well because we were on the ground,” said Sharp. “I was certainly full in anxiety mode when I started to see people start shouting, rushing, trying to go out, crying. It was just a nightmare, especially with everything that was going on in this moment.
In Sharp’s video, an agent on board tells passengers to sit. She said that was what had happened at the beginning, but the crew finally evacuated the passengers after realizing that people were not going to sit.
“(The crew) finally made us slide on the back at the back (of the plane) when they realized that we will not stay in our seats much longer. And then we ended up being stuck On the tarmac for about 2.5 hours.
Sharp was reserved for a different from New York for Sunday afternoon.
“I hope it was just a weird accident,” she said. “I’m glad everyone was fine.”
